The Bell Siphon comes in many sizes, Specifically this one is a 20mm Bell Siphon.

Used typically in Aquaponic systems and Hydroponic Systems.

It enables transfer of water from the grow bed to the water tank or fish tank with the aid of gravity.

No pump or any other source of energy is required to aid the siphoning process, just physics and the process called the Bernoulli's Theorem.

 HOW IT WORKS
 
  • Water enters the grow bed by means of a pump.
  • As the tank fills up to a specifically set height, the water starts to leak out through a down pipe.
  • As it does this an Automatic reaction happens that starts the siphoning process.
  • The Bell Siphon empties the grow bed water into the water tank.
  • This is a simple and trustworthy design, tested and hassle free.
